I would assume weather or something maybe, but that seems weird. I see lots of notes about the US....is this staying within the US?

If it’s coming to Canada and you’re in Canada, there’s a chance of a postal strike looming here, so it may have something to do with that...?

Nope, it’s coming to Vermont... almost Canada, but not quite.

I mean, how is it that I can order a $5 piece of Chinese junk-technology with free shipping via ChinaPost/USPS-EMS direct from the manufacturer and it arrives in 5 days wrapped in tissue paper and string with no issues, but I buy a $1200, crated, American made compressor from a distributor, pay $45 for shipping and it can’t get from Arizona to Vermont in under 10 days without issues (allowances for the long weekend taken, I actually ORDERED this item on 6/23).

We ordered 2 bags of dog food from Petco. We only got one. We go online to see they were shipped separately. One says delivered. Other bag literally said “Package destroyed in transit. Unable to deliver. Contact vendor”

Petco was so confused because they’ve never seen that before either. The food came in bags that were in boxes with bubble wrap. How one was literally destroyed is beyond me.

I once had a $150 car part next day air’d Saturday delivery which was a bazillion dollars. The driver didn’t deliver because he said the zip on the address was incorrect. The delivery address is ON THE LINE between the two zip codes. Choose either zip, it is the same god damned place!!!!

I remember hearing something about their union contract negotiations breaking down at the end of April. Haven’t heard anything since but I wouldn’t be surprised if it still hasn’t been resolved.

I've gotten that a couple times with larger items (think two+ man lift). Called them once and it turned out that only some of the trucks will take them and that they'd missed the window for the one they expected it to get on and the next heading my way wouldn't be at that depot for 36 hours or something.
